The Learning Center is a group child care center licensed by the state of Wisconsin and regularly monitored to ensure that health, safety and many other state requirements are being met. We accept applications for admission and employment regardless of race, religion, disability, sex and national origin.
Our Services
Providing the quality care you want for your child is our main goal. Our teachers strive to provide your child with nurturing and stimulating experiences in an environment of warmth, security, love and respect.
We know the importance of physical, intellectual, social and emotional growth, and we strive to provide the best of everything for your child to enhance their growth in every aspect. We make it a point to communicate with parents about their little ones.
You can be open with us about your values, beliefs and family culture. We'll make every effort to inculcate those values and beliefs into your child. Our curriculum is developmentally appropriate as well as anti-bias.
Our curriculum is designed so that each child may be successful, feel good about themselves and develop good self-esteem.
Our schedules for infants cannot be planned as they are for older children. We believe that infants should be on a flexible and personal schedule that provides rest, eating and play.
Routines will change as the infant develops. We realize the changing needs of an infant for less sleep, more playtime and a different feeding schedule. We use routines as opportunities for learning and nurturing as well as great one-on-one interaction time.
The first three years of a child's life are the most important to development, with the infant time period possibly being the most significant. We encourage babies to communicate by playing games like peek-a-boo and pat-a-cake.
Count on us to give individualized care and attention that helps to develop the roots for language and learning by holding, singing and talking to your child. We understand each child's uniqueness and find the most appropriate way to interact with them.
